Blue Water's Upgraded House Suggestions Welcomed

With Blue Water's scales finally coming back at full speed, long story short apparently parasites, I have been working on her ten gallon upgrade which is already cycled. Right now her snail buddies have been enjoying it.

This is what I have setup so far, how does it look?

I am so excited to finally have a little banana plant. I'm thinking some taller plants in the back (whisteria...bacopa maybe?) A crypt will also be going somewhere. Any suggestions on other plants to add, or decor, or well anything?

PS: The bag on the left will be gone once the betta goes in. The new substrate was a bit dusty even after a rinse or two or three so the purgeon was there to get rid of that.

Definitely bacopa caroliniana. I also love corkscrew vals and hygrophila corymbosa.

Tank looks great so far!

Thanks @e1337. It's kind of my first real aquascaping, meaning where I am actually trying. With her five gallon I just kind of dumped the plants and decor where ever they seemed to want to go.

Looks good so far. So glad you finally got a banana plant. This will sound odd, but they're so much fun. The one in my betta tank isn't growing nearly as fast as the one in my invert tank, but that one is just amazing, a new leaf or lily pad is showing up every few days. They are some of the fastest growing I have seen

What lighting are you using? I love the way corkscrew vals look too, but have never tried as all of my setups are low light.

I think just more plants that will be taller and give Blue Water something to play in. Rekka loves going through the pothos and bamboo, as well as the windelov java fern and anubias. If you aren't going to be doing a background, I'd definitely suggest something taller in the back unless you really like that wall

@Bithimala Yeah I had to order the banana plant from ebay, since no one near me had one. They wouldn't even special order one for me lol. Mine already has a little shoot growing out of it, so I imagine I'll get a lily soon.

I am using finnex planted plus as a light, I'm planning on staying pretty low tech. I was actually thinking about doing a background, but I'll have to see what it looks like once all the plants are in.

@g01: Thank you. I'm awful at aquascaping so that means a lot to me.
