HI there!
I’ve had a blue three-spot Gourami for about two years now, and for the most part, he’s been fairly peaceful with other, smaller fish. I wanted to add at least one other fish around his size into my 55 gallon tank. I got a turquoise Rainbow fish yesterday that my Gourami is relentlessness chasing around. There are plenty of caves, plants and hiding places for them to go, but the Gourami has been seeking the new fish out all last night and again today. Is this something that will pass over time once dominance is established, or any trick I should know to stop this? I know Gourami are territorial but it seems like I’ll always be stuck with getting smaller fish because he won’t let another fish his size into the tank.
Thanks in advance!
