If the tank is big enough, why not both? Rams are peaceful enough, and while Angelfish can show some territorial aggression within their own species, and towards others during breeding, they spend most of their time in the mid to upper level of the tank.

GBR's are notoriously difficult to keep alive without a well-established tank (6 months plus) and do well at 84F (so plan around that with your bottom dwellers and dither fish). I would at the very least look into buying them from a reputable breeder if you're dead set on them. Try aquabid, or even consider Bolivians which are more forgiving.

I agree with zevyn. By the looks of things the tank is large enough, so you could keep both. Maybe 3 angels and 2 rams should be good.
