my blue gourami is chasing my new corys around and I don't know what to do, the corys will be sitting on the bottom, and as soon as she sees one, she darts at it and chases it around the tank...any ideas ???

hello  kevin . I don't care if u listen or not but I would separate them or if u can't leave them be for a while. Maybe she's protecting something?

I might get one of those net breeders and use it as her prison...see if she likes time-out

I think he's serious. Other members use time-out to shake out a fish' attitude. Never worked for my fish, though. They also recommend to move the decoration while the fish is having time-out, so that decreases its sense ot territoriality.

I knew he was serious it's just that fish in "time-out" seems rather silly don't u agree

They dont' eat with silverware but we don't either. I have to admit something REALLY anthropomorphic that I did the other day. I went to an earthenware store that sells plates and stuff to find minI bowls to try to put my sinking pellets in. I bought one per fish tank!

That's actually a really good idea...prevents the crumbs from sinking into the gravel and making a mess.

Kevin--have you tried a time-out yet? If that doesn't work, you may have to separate them. Some Dwarf Gouramis can be really aggressive.

Well it doesn't work (my really good idea). I've found that the sinking pellets are actually SLOW sinking pellets. Any idea how I can get them to stay in the bowl directly? Even if I soak them in water in the bowl first, they'll start floating about on contact with the water.

glue them to the bowl, of course. :;a I don't know - presoak them maybe?
