Blue and Gold Ram Price Difference?

I stopped by my LFS today and was surprised by the price difference between the Blue and Gold Rams. The Blues were $7.99 and the Golds were $23.99.

I’ve always found their prices reasonable/competitive, so I’m curious if others are also seeing big differences between Blues and Golds? I was going to ask one of the workers, but everyone was incredibly busy.

 

Golds are usually the cheapest .
Blue next, then Electric blue and then blacks being most expensive .

Christmas gimmic ?
Maybe the store is having trouble getting golds ..

I really don’t think these folks do the gimmick thing. Could be hard for them to get? I just checked their website to make sure it wasn’t a mis-label in the store.
