Good morning,

My juvenile Bloody Parrots that are in my 33 gallon long are really loving the Java Moss.

The Java Moss was sent to me a little over a year ago from one of our members. It was just a small piece and now it's quiet massive.

I've noticed that they love to hide and sleep in it. Sometimes I don't know how they get through it but they do. One even scared me, it was in the moss and I thought it was having issues and come to find outokey: it was

They are both doing very well and eating small Blood Red Parrot Pellets now for their staple. I had started them out on flakes until I ordered the small size pellet. The pellets for my larger Bloody Parrots are too big for the juveniles.

All is well! arty0011:

Have a good day everyone. I'll try to get photos of them sleeping in the moss sometime soon.

That's really cute! My frogs hide in java moss. They're hard to see in there.

That's good to hear Allibobs. This is the first time I've had Bloody Parrots and the Java Moss together. I can't have plants in my 265g due to the Silver Dollars being in there.

Good afternoon!

Here are a few photos of one of the juvenile Bloody Parrots sleeping in the Java Moss. My apologies that it's blurred a bit. I'll do better if there is a next time. If I got too far away you couldn't tell it was a fish.

Today just wasn't my cameras day! LOL
Thanks for looking!
