Bloodworm distribution for Adf, need info

I recently bought frozen bloodworms for my African Dwarf Frogs that I have in a 5 gallon. There are 3 frogs. Here is the problem, the bloodworms came in one big chunk. How much do I feed my frogs and how often? They look hungry but I don't want to put in more or less than what is suitable for 3 frogs.

I use a turkey baster to put the worms in at surtain amounts,

i'll usually put some room temp bottled water in a container that can be sealed with a lid (bought just for the bloodworms). I drop the cube in it and feed the fish from it for about a week or so then toss what's left.

 

I don't buy the frozen stuff, but the . The blood worms are all lose (not cubes like some of the others show on that page I linked) and are so easy and clean to drop in the tank, yet they have the same benefit of frozen foods.

for instancewarf puffer, butterfly goby, picky fish

 

and freeze dried foods can be bad for frogs, since they have a very sensitive digestive track and if they eat the food before it has absorbed water and expanded then they will eat it and it will expand in their stomach which can cause death. So ill stick with frozen. It came in one big chunk.... so about how much is needed for 3 frogs.

Actually dwarf puffers don't like frozen food in general because it doesn't move like it is alive. With good circulation in the tank it's much easier to make them think the freeze dried stuff is alive then frozen chunks. But this isn't about puffers...

You can always pre-soak the freeze dried stuff as it expands to full size in a matter of seconds once it hits water. And I've found some people that had really picky frogs that ended up only eating the freeze dried stuff. But there isn't anything wrong with frozen stuff either (especially since you've already got some handy ) and a lot of frog owners prefer it to everything else if their frogs will take it. Check out this page on the Frogs, the second paragraph shows how this guy feeds his frogs. He says he just gives them a "pinch" every 3-4 days. I'm not sure how to give a pinch of a cube of blood worms though. I've heard of people using cheese graders/slicers to scrape off pieces of the frozen block, maybe give that a try?

 

I just put the cube in a container for the frozen bloodworms with water and feed from it for about a week. It's easy to get out that way or pick out with tweezers if the bloodworms cause allergies.

yes your right, my mistake,
maybe you could cut it into halves until they get about a half a square inch,
but the chease greater thing will work better I think,
