Blood Parrot Cichlid Food

Hi! I have a blood parrot cichlid and he is growing larger, so I wanna get some new food for him. Currently he is on a diet of flakes and krill. But now that he is getting bugger (About 3 inches) the flakes are to small now and he has stopped eating them. I don't want him on a krill only diet though. Anyone know of any good sinking cichlid pellets. I also have 3 lace catfish in there and I wanna give them some algae wafers. I tried giving them today and my BP just came and ate them. I wanna make sure the BP and lace's both get there food. Any suggestions on good cichlid food and how to get the algae wafers to the laces? Thanks in advance

I feed my blood parrots Omega One small cichlid pellets, and they seem to be doing great with their colours being almost red. New Life Spectrum is another good brand that people use.

Thanks! I am trying omega 1 medium floating pellets (cuz my LFS doesn't have sinking) and I don't think there good. My BP ate one and immediately started to FREAK OUT! He was breathing heavy he was going crazy, I had never seen him so stressed. After I fed him a krill he was fine but he isn't eating the pellets when I offer them, I think I need to try something else besides pellets. Thanks though!

I've been feeding my BP repashy. It's way easier for them to eat. My BP utterly loves repashy, gets to it before the Jack Dempseys know what's going on.

I think HikarI makes a blood parrot formula to bring out their coloration more.
