Hi! I have a fully cycled 75 gallon tank and about a week and a half ago I added a blue wag platy, red Mickey Mouse platy, and an 8th albino cory.
Today I noticed my Mickey Mouse platy sitting at the bottom of the tank resting on the gravel. Her belly is pretty big, almost as if she’s pregnant, however this is the first I’ve noticed her this big. Up until today she looked perfectly normal. Her fins are also tucked in close against her, even her tail fin is squished a bit. I tried to get a picture of her but when she saw me she swam away and hid.
I just tested my water about three days ago and everything was very good (the actual numbers are updated on my profile) but should I test them again to check nothing has changed?
I got a look at her and she doesn’t seem to be pineconing. The only thing I can think of is she’s getting ready to give birth but it just seems so quick. Is there anything else it could be?
