Bloated Betta, What Can I Do?

CatLover2000

I've had this betta since the beginning (bred bettas and got this one). I feel like their growth might have been stunted but I'm not 100% sure since this is the first one I've ever had survive. Watching it for a few days, I noticed it looked bloated and it didn't really swim around much. When it does, it'll swim a little and then kind of sink to the bottom. I dont have any idea what to do.

I would fast it for 3-4 days first, see if that helps. Start simple.

a few of my betta fry had the same issue. some are just born with defects so there is not much you can do... I found one of mine more prone to bloating so maybe soak her food if you can!

Agree soaking food for up to 2 minutes is a must for bettas
