    My lawnmower blenny being photogenic he likes to look out the glass for some reason

    Yeah, mine does too.

    When I enter the room, he goes straight to the glass, and if I don't pay him any attention, he'll jump around at the glass, as if to say 'hheelllloooo, it's me, I'm here, look at me.' :giggle:

    Certainly one of the most personable fish in my reef ;)

    Love those. Is there a reason their called lawnmower blennys ?

    Thanks. Did you also notice the edge of his fins are a purple colour, to blend in with the coralline algae :D
    He changes colours from dark 'zebra' stripes to plain white depending on what he's around at the time.


    Carol - all they eat is algae, so I guess they're tank lawnmowers ;)

    Great pics.

    Mine is always looking at me. He sits still as can be near the front glass and I'll move my head back n forth and watch his eyes follow me. I think he thinks that I can't see him...lol. His face reminds me of the grinch.
