Bleeding Heart/rosy Tetras With Chili Rasboras

I am just beginning to stock a 29/30 gallon tank. I have 4 bleeding heart tetras and 2 rosy tetras so far. (I intended to have all bleeding heart tetras but neither nor the aquarium store noticed that some rosies were mixed in.)

My plan is to fill out the bleeding heart/rosy shoal to 8-10 and then put in some cherry barbs. My local aquarium store has chilI rasboras and they look pretty cool. Would they be compatible with my tetras?

Still might go with the cherry barbs, though. The chilI rasboras might visually overwhelm the subtle beauty of the bleeding hearts/rosies.

Looks like we have very similar stocking goals for our 29 gallon tanks .

The thing to remember is that the Bleeding Hearts are going to grow fairly good size, and the ChilI Rasboras probably won't grow noticeably. That means you will have 3+" Tetras with 1" skinny Rasboras. Can anyone say snacks?

30 gallons seems rather small for a school of Bleeding Hearts to me, but then I've known full sized ones in a much bigger aquarium which were not stunted.
