    Hey everyone,

Quick question. I just noticed today that my white beta has some black spots on him. I don't remember noticing these before. Does it look like anything concerning, or just his color? Thanks! I think it may just be part of his color.

He just looks like he ate a little too much, but I've not heard of black spots being an issue and bettas can have color spots like that.

    (Oh, and welcome!)

It looks like it's just part of his natural coloring. Spots like that aren't uncommon on bettas his color. I agree that it does look like he ate a bit too much. He might benefit from dividing his food into two meals if you only feed him once a day.

Id say natural. If he gets more its more then likely he's a marble. They tend to change their colors lol.
