Black ruby barbs and tiger barbs

HI everyone just a quick question I have a 30 gallon tank with 6 black ruby barbs and 3 tiger barbs ( LFS only had 3 ) would I be able to add some more once they have all settled in

 

Add more of what? You should definitely add more tiger barbs. How many were you wanting to add?

Was your tank cycled when you added them? What are your water parameters now (pH, temp, ammonia, nitrites, nitrates)?

 

How many would I be able to add as I'm going to get some today? Tank has been set up and cycled for about 4 months

 

It's usually preferred to have at least 6 for schooling fish, so you should at least get 3 or 4 more. If your tank is cycled they should be fine.

 

If your tank is cycled, I would add another 3 tiger barbs today, and another 3 in a week. Answering my question about specific parameters above would help us know what's best for you.
