Hey!
So i came home after been away from home in some weeks with new fish, cherry and black ruby barbs.

But my tank was filled with hair algae :/ i think its hair algae. Small green hair on the plants like 0.5 cm and on the glass..

Now 2 days later there is less of it. Now i can see the ruby barbs nipping on some plants, do do they eat it or eating my plant? If they do i probebly made the best deal ever

Thier omnivores
in the wild its diet has a large proportion of vegetable matter including filamentous algae,
so yes they would eat some but also feed them some meaty stuff too like shrimp, bloodworms
