Hey guys, I need a little help on finding out what’s wrong with my black moor. He had developed a white patch on his body (attached images) and was wondering what it could be. All the levels in the tank are fine. Any suggestions?

black moors need more tank than that they need 20 gallons per 1 fish

It could be due to too small of a tank that he is turning white

Just for the record black moors can get up to 8". Buy the biggest tank you can afford/have space for, even a 20g will get cramped once it grows out.

I found out that my fish was suffering from chlorine poisoning I have now put him in a fresh tank with treated water and he is on his way back to health

I’ve been seeing a lot of chlorine issues on multiple different forums. Apparently, some water companies up their chlorine levels in the summer. I’ve never had this problem but it’s definitely something to be aware of.
