Black molly's weird behavior

Hi,guys bought a new male black molly from lps two days before,I did every right thing before introducing him into the tank. When the day I introduced him he ate well and gone to all the places all over my tank.

But from very next day he started to hangout in a single place that too which is closer to surface nor eating neither swimming but occasionally. I'm worried whether he'll make up or not.He looks healthy no wiggling of body as if some mollys do when they are sick as far as I know. I bought him alone without pair cuz I don't want to keep a fish which breeds every other month.

Any advice on him is welcome,I have pair of marble angels and 1 rts along with him.

How long has this tank been set up? Can you post your water parameters - pH, temp, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate?

 

He's scared because he's the only one of his kind in the tank. This produces stress, and eventually will be detrimental to his health.

 

HI guys,he is dng gud now may be environment sick earlier. Parameters are normal. Ammonia and nitrite 0ppm,nitrate 12 to 13ppm. Temp 76 f. Ph 7.2. Good to go .... Happily swimming everywhere

 

What test kit are you using?

I know this wasn't part of your question but just wanted to let you know that the RTS isn't appropriate for your tank size and having a pair of angels is too much for a 30g. The temp is also a bit too cool for angels as well. If you want to start a new thread for stocking suggestions, we can help.

 

Am not sure about kit bro my friend gave it to me before he is getting rid of his 100 gallon tank,to be surprise he is a chemical engg. In my place where I live it's monsoon season now,so temp may fluctuate otherwise it'll be around 78 usually.

I can raise much but 80 is d temp where angels will spawn. And mate am planning for upgrading my tank as well in 2mnths or so. It'll be mostly 100 to 120 gallon fully planted tank. So thank goodness am having one friend here for me to advice when I go for that. el337 you are the one
