black molly has some disease.

Last night everyone in my tank was fine, this morning when I woke up to feed them I noticed whitish bumps on my black Molly (Vader). They are just tiny spots, slightly raised, and in some areas her black scales look outlined in white/grey. Her eyes are fine, her fins and tail have no spots, she's eating as much as usual, very active, normal poo, still hanging out with my balloon Molly(stripper) who is still trying to mate with her. Vader is not flashing, or acting out of character in any way.

stripper, the two guppies and common pleco(please don't start on him getting to big for my tank, I am aware and will remedy that before he gets to big) all appear fine, no spots or bumps that I can tell. And everyone is acting normal.

Vader may be slightly more stressed then the others, as Stripper chases her, trying to mate ALL THE TIME(at least 6 times a day I see him trying) but she doesn't try to stay away from him, intact if he's to far away from her she swims to him. The guppies are fully gay, have ZERO interest in vader, and the pleco keeps to himself.

I'm not sure how to tell if it is ich or velvet, or something else entirely. In case of ich I'm raising the temp closer to 86 and adding more air, as a thread on here suggested, and if possible I want to avoid medication as that's how diseases and such become resistant to treatment.

No new fish have been added, the only change in my tank recently is a new better HOB filter. My ammonia/nitrate/nitrites are all fine, no drastic changes to the water or anything, so I'm not sure how a disease would be introduced.

Any other suggestions? Anyone know a way to tell for sure what is causing it?

Oh, also 50% water change with 50% gravel vacuuming as well done today. Prior to today been 25% water change/gravel vacuum weekly.

ok do you know what your water parameters are, you just say they are all fine.........I see on your profile you are using in the tank AmmonI etc etc testers,Sorry in the tank ammonia testers etc etc are not very accurate, I have tried them before and taken them back to the store.
Test strips are ok at a pinch but the ApI testing kit is DA BOMB!.......you can get it from Amazon for $25 inc shipping..............

It says on your profile you don't know about the nitrogen cycle, is this correct?

I see what you use as a water conditioner, do you use it when you do a water change?

IMO the best of the best is Prime by Seachem, it covers all the bases in making the water "safer" for the fish until the tank is cycled.

Can you provide a photo of your back molly?

What temp is your tank?

I took a sample of water in for a free test at the store yesterday, they used a masters kit, I forget the actual parameters though, but I remember they were all "pretty well perfect" according to the guy that did the test. When I went to buy my own better test kit the three stores I went to were sold out, so I haven't purchased one yet, though I am well aware the in tank ones suck (at least I'm aware now lol). But the store I usually frequent will test samples if you bring them in using an apI masters test kit. I took a sample in as soon as I noticed this change in Vader yesterday morning.

I've learnt about the cycle, and my tank is fully cycled again(after changing filters), now.

I was using aqueon water conditioner, but have since switched to prime after much advice about it. I use it with every water change, and if I'm adding anything to the tank(fake plants, more rocks, even the newer filter) I first rinse the item under tap water, then soak it in primed water for an hour prior to adding it.

My tank was around 79 degrees, but I have been slowly raising the temp incase this is ich, currently the temp is approx 84.

Unfortunately for some reason my phone does not agree with this site, making it so I cannot upload photos 90% of the time. And I don't have a computer. Even if I could though Vader never stays still long enough for a clear picture of her. I've tried setting my camera for movement even, but she's just to quick.

Also today when looking in at them again Vader has only a very few spots left, and only one area of white outlined scales, it was the worst area yesterday, on her body midway between the top and bottom, in line with her analfins. Everyone else still seems fine, and Vader is still acting normal.
