Your driftwood looks normal to me, what colour do you want it to be? If you want it to stay pale you probably want artificial driftwood

Just make sure to boil it enough so the tatins (dont know how to spell it) don't get out of hand

Looks fine to me too. If there are black spots on there, are they fuzzy? Boiling the wood will kill any algae or pests present, and like BamBam stated, will leach tannins out of the wood.

And to keep the wood clean make sure to have a pleco or another type of algae eater. My otos and red tailed shark love to graze off the wood. It also helps keep their diet balanced. (for the plecos it does)

Is it normal that my red tail shark has a little bit of white on the end of the fin on top because I see in you profile picture your shark has it too.
And do you have any tips for taking care of my red tail shark?

Yes it is normal. I actually saved this poor RTS from petco. He was being beat up and picked on by the other much more aggressive fish. Um they are fairly easy to take care of. My RTS eats the sinking pellets that I give to my corys and every once in a while I give him and my otots a piece of watermelon. They LOVE it. Just keep the water nice and clean and give him some love

Mine only chases if another fish es him off. I don't blame him if he gets bit in the head I won't stop him from chasing the fish who did it. I would do the same if I was a fish. The good thing is that they don't have teeth so they don't do damage. Maybe put him in a breeder net or something that stays in the tank. Then the shark will figure out that the fish mean no harm and/or he figures out that he can chase them.

Yes but he really hurts my little fish look at the one in the centre of the foto that's not to defend himself he just picks the little fish he doesn't hurt my guppies because there bigger. (The place were his glowing line stops in the middle of his body is as gray as the rest of his body.

Ive never had that happen with my RTS are you sure its a RTS? Could you send a photo just to make sure. It could be like a rainbow shark or a simular looking fish.
Do you have another fully cycled tank that you could keep the neons in? Neons like a much cooler temp of water compared to the RTS. It could be that the shark may be distressed cause of the temp....what is your temp?

No it really is a red tail shark and he always hides under the driftwood 26.9°C but my heater is on 75°F but it's because it's hot in my room.

Hm these sharks choose a area and claim it as its territory. Watch your tank a bit. If the neons come over to the sharks hiding place then he will defend it.
