Hello! I have 2 black skirt tetras isolates in a hospital tank with a disease I’m having trouble identifying. It looks a little like a fungus but I can’t find and such disease on the web. The big fish has had this for a couple of weeks now and I thought the black patches were maybe just cancer or him aging but they got worse and today a second fish appears the same around the gills. I’ve attached pictures. The only think online that I could find it might be is a gram negative bacteria called columnaris, which is usually white but I saw one thread where it was black on a black skirt tetra? Any advice or help in IDing this? Thanks.

Should also note the bigger fish is bloated mostly on the side with most of the the black patches, like not symmetrical bloating but he’s definitely a bit bigger on that side.
