Black Convict?

I have four black convicts and this one was said to be a black convict and was in the tank with all the other convicts at the shop but it looks nothing like the others. Can anyone confirm what type of Cichlid this is?

It looks like a Blue Acara or Green Terror.

Is the fish less aggressive or more aggressive than your Convicts?

He is the least aggressive of them. Just keeps to himself.

Anyway, it's better to return the fish to the fish store if they gave you the wrong fish and ask them to exchange for you.

If it's a Blue Acara, it will get beaten up badly because its less aggressive.
Does it has some stripes on its body?
If yes, then its a Blue Acara.

If it's a Green Terror which is supposed to be also aggressive, though I'm not sure which is more aggressive if compare to Black Convicts.

Since its already get beaten up with its tail being nipped badly, it's better to return it to the shop.

He is actually not being beaten up in our tank we bought him with his back fin already like that. The initial thought was that’s a different black convict then it occurred to me that’s not a black convict at all.
