Bought 2 weather loaches last week, One of them had a piece out of his tail missing a few days later, started acting passive, his tail webs continued to disappear and Sunday night found him dead, his body turned black.

Unfortunitly I put him in my 29G tank (my 10G Q tank had a Crawfish in it at the time) when I noticed the tail thing, the 29G isn't my main tank, but I do have/ or did have 4 other fish in my 29G.
A male guppy that was in that tank too, had the same thing happen to him with the tail yesterday, and he was dead this morning, body turned black as well.

Is this some kind of disease, if so do you know what it is? And what steps should I take, if any?

I've been watching the last 2 fish in my 29G tank, closely. All looks well with them so far.

So far I'm down a weather loach, a fancy guppy and a female glofish. The loach and guppy both had the tail fin thing and died with the black bodies. The glofish's fat stomic turned black before she died, but her fins looked fine.
