One of my parrot has developed black blotches on his skin. They are more intense than the juvenile markings that they other parrot has. They are on his body and fins. His behavior has not changed much (if anything he is actin more out going). His fins are not rotting and the blotches look like they are part of the skin, more like pigmentation than a fungus, but I for sure could be wrong, I have never had a sick fish before. My water has a super low ph for some reason. , are they related? How do I treat my BRP?

Does almost look like pigmentation doesn't it. Maybe a more knowledgeable parrot member than I will see this and respond.

Good morning,

Your fish is fine. I responded in your other thread about this too. The black spots will come and go throughout the juvenile period. No need for treatment Once they grow up it will be rare that you ever see the spots again.

Beautiful Bloody Parrots

Enjoy your fish!

I'm glad they are nothing to worry about. They seem to be fading again too.
