I don't really have a list at this point. So if I start one now, you're at the top of it lol

If I get the guts to ship!

Oh wow! I figured you would have already had folks lining up for them. That's really exciting for me!!

I bet there are folks on this forum that can help with shipping tips.

awesome pic !!

Love it!!
Thanks guys!! This has gotta be one of my favorite pics of all time I was only taking a picture of the long fin one and then right as I was about to stop the standard fin one went nose-to-nose with him and they just posed like that for me!

I see a ton of longfin babies in there

I put the dad back in the 55-gallon a couple days ago. The more I think about it, that may be a mistake. Because once they start breeding they do it quite frequently and I do not need another batch right now! Lol I'll have to look in to separating them!

So I'm probably going to use Junne s trick with the water bottle trap to round up the pleco babies pretty soon. I want to get most of them into the bare bottom 40 breeder asap. They'll grow much faster in there! I hope it'll be feasible to have angelfish and plecos growing out in there at the same time.... lots of water changes for sure!!!!

So Junne you just used a regular plastic water bottle right? I wish there was a way I could round up only the yellow ones LOL

Thanks for watching I've never shipped a fish and so at this point I don't even know if I'm going to ship. If I get some practice first... and get good and comfortable with it....maybe... I bet it would be incredibly expensive to ship express overseas though!

It's actually fairly easy to ship as long as you keep a few things in mind. With your fish experience I bet you'd have no problem

There are a lot of long fin ones in there

Yeah I noticed some others put their threads in their signature and I had to figure out how to do it

They definitely do. It's hard to see it on camera still. But in person I can see it.

I've been doing veggies and hikarI algae wafers. Should I add some shrimp pellets or something to the diet?

Don't the hikarI wafers have some protein in them though?

I thought the veggies was most beneficial, meat was a "filler".

It'll be a couple months probably. Were you planning to keep them with the goldfish? Because bn plecos prefer much warmer water than goldfish.

I had my lemon for a year Yeah my tank has always been 72 -74• he seemed to like the temp and had enough to eat he was swimming this morning then I got home and he was dead

Do you have a suggestion on how to get my eggs. Out of the tank I have a gravel sifter and a really fine net. And some of the eggs are on the decorations I'm just wondering about the ones that stuck to the gravel I'd assume it would be the same process as with your angels is why I'm asking I'm on my way to get a small tank for them

Soocold
  • #119
I would think sifting would damage the eggs. Do you have a turkey baster?

Goldfish lady
  • #120
I got most of them out by picking up the rocks and hand sifted them and a few have hatched

Should I put a new never used dish sponge over the filter grate And what do I do if the nitrate in my Maine tank is 200ppm I think that is why my lemon bn died
