Hope it stays that way....this tank needs some cories, next. And more tetras.

I hope so too, for you. A sick tank is stressful for all.

Have you decided on the type of Cory yet? I saw some different ones in my LFS, Similis (or smudge spot) Cory. They were super cute and reminded me kind of like the sterbai crossed with a julii, but even cuter. I just love cories <3

Was thinking julii's/false julii's(since thats what is usually around), but leaning more towards sterbai i think. I got enough white fish in the tank lol! And that one school i want more of.

Got a new "stump" soaking to add to this tank, also a few more pjeces of dragonstone. I got ideas....

Also, the Julii cories are doing pretty swell, seem to be very much up to "cory things".

Did a bit of a rescape yesterday. Added a 2nd stump and a bunch of rocks, creating a bit of a cave system in the corner. Probably never see my plecos again!!

Caves, mostly under those rocks.

The black phantom tetras population taking a beating from the ich/ich treatment. Rams, cories and plecos seem pretty fine though.

Cleabed the outside of the front glass today. Rans seem a bit confused. Looks like they keep bumping into the glass now. Lol!

Did a water change. When i primed and plugged in my AC, it didn't start afterwards. Motor just decided to die or something. Let's hear it for having back-ups!

Similar to the other 36, filter was a lower flow than usual. This pre-filter sponge wasn't near as bad as the other, but filter flows much better after a good rinse of the pre-filter. Also added another extension to the intake tube.

Did you try bumping the impeller with something? I've got a couple older ACs that work fine but won't spin unless I nudge the impeller while it's plugged in.

Had to do that with a Tetra whisper internal 40 once. Didn't want it to run dry so I had it hovering in a bucket of water.
Shot water 3 feet in the air
