Big black spots & lumps on betta tail

Sunflower

Anyone knows what that black marks & lumps might be?

I just noticed that my betta has 2 island of black marks on his tail and they also appear on the other side like 2 lumps. Last pic is from 5 days ago and i realized he already had it but smaller. Other than that he's really active and looks healthy

As a background, he's usually in a 20 liters planted tank (+-5 gallons) with heater (26°C) & a filter but i went out of town & i brought him with me so for a few weeks he had to stay in a really small tank maybe 1,5-2 gallons with heater and indian almond leaf, but without filter.. i changed the water 100% every few days. I

I moved him back to the normal tank last week. But yesterday i have to go out of town again so he has to stay in a heated 5 gallon tank but again without filter & 50% wc maybe every 2 or 3 days until a new filter comes :(

Black blotches on fish are often due to exposure to ammonia, but
sudden pigment changes on Bettas are common and not harmful.
If the Betta is still eating and otherwise acting normally, likely no worries.
