Big Beard's Big 170 - African Rift Tank

Awesome tank and population. Probably less is more in this case (as in general). Otherwise, your eye doesn't know what to look at, which fish to follow. It looks densely populated as it is. But this is just my opinion.

 

Well, I've had some new additions. I've added several haps - a Red Empress, a C. Moori Blue dolphin, an O. Lithobates Z-rock and a couple baby Copadichromis Geertsi I was lucky enough to snag from my local breeder. The tank is feeling really well rounded now. With everybody coloring up, the tank is mighty fine to sit and look at.
I've also added a few plants from https://elitecichlids.com/. I'm afraid my photography skills leave a lot to be desired, but the plants really balanced the tank out. It always felt a little sparse before.
