Betts fish and leaf fish?

I just want to know if I can add 1 or 2 leaf fish to my 10 gallon beta tank? I only plan to keep them a little while in that tank, then I would add them to my 55 gallon. I just want to get their size up some, could that work?

I wouldn't add the leaf fish with the betta.. if assume there's a betta in the betta tank, right?
some bettas are very territorial and if I were you I wouldn't take the risk. I don't know much about leaf fish, though.
If your worried about the size in the 55 maybe you can just keep them in a QT tank while they grow out a little? This will insure they don't have any sicknesses and it will allow them to grow out. Something as simple as a plastic tub with a filter and heater will work for this.
    sorry if I'm misunderstanding :)

Yeah I don't think you should add a leaf fish with a betta. Since I've heard leaf fish tend to be aggressive sometimes. The betta is also aggressive so that may not be a good mix.
