Betta won't stop glass surfing??

Hi, i've had a betta since the 29th of June 2020, and he still hasn't stopped glass surfing. He does it on all sides of the tank and won't stop! WHen i sit with him,he dances and surfs as though he's trying to get to me, and when he cannot see me he spends i'd say 80% of his time surfing. I really don't want him to be stressed and i hope someone can help!

Water parameters are perfect, he has many live plants and a block of mopani wood. It's a 15 gal tank and I add rooibos tea every now and then. he eats once a day a variety of food like bug bites, hikari pellets and sometimes bloodworms or a frozen food. He's got floating plants, weaving plants, many hiding spots and a floating tube. He can't see his reflection anywhere either. Also, he has new tail growth and his wounds from the pet shop have healed, yet he still surfs? My old betta in the same tank did not do any of these things. The surfing betta has not made a bubble nest though he appears younger than my other betta so perhaps he has not matured yet.

He lives with 6 female guppies, who never pay him any interest and they literally just peck plants, they're all dull in colour and not shiny etc. He sometime's hovers and watches them, sometimes giving a tiny chase but he does not intend to kill.

If it's along the front part of the tank he mostly surfs try breaking it up with some more plants or driftwood or something. Often helps.

Maybe try adding a few more decorations or plants? My betta would do this when he was bored (right after I got him I didn’t know they liked to explore so he only had 2 fake plants in his tank). Now he has a lots of places to explore and every month or so I move things around slightly so it seems like a new area to play in. (Though I have silk plants so they’re easier to move)

i did attach pictures of my tank earlier and i fear i've done everything possible : it's a heated, filtered 15 gal with all those floating plants, normal plants and mopani wood, and everything is live. After he's fed he weaves through them all but other than that he doesnt do anything other than glass surf most of the time
