Betta Wont Eat?

I got a beautiful betta just two days ago. He was in a tiny cup that you use to drink coffee out of, and the water was so cloudy. I put him in my 10 gallon tank, and even though he was in such harsh conditions, he's doing great. He's got quite the personality, he swims everywhere, he's very active and he likes to go in and out of the plants. I have one problem though, he won't eat. I've tried feeding him tropical fish flakes and betta pellets. All he does is look at it, put it in his mouth, and then spit it out. I can tell he's hungry, but whenever I give him food he won't eat it. Help?

Stick with the betta pellets, though I might ask what brand? Look at the ingriedient list on the container, list the first 5 please . Some bettas take a while to settle in, it may take a week or 2. he will be fine. Frozen brineshrimp and blood worms might entice a bite though. Blood worms should be treats, not staple diet. And I encourage that it be Frozen and not freeze dried.

Forgot to add that I had a betta before this one and he ate the pellets the minute he saw them.

This is the food I feed him:

These are good pellets, stick with them. Just give him time.
