Betta with possible tumor/growth?

So my poor boy Red has gotten something that looks like a tumor/growth under his belly. He had something like this before happen a few months ago but it was at the top of one of his gills and I was able to treat it. So far I've tried to treat him with Kanaplex and Furan 2 with no luck, now I have him in just aquarium salt and Betta Revive because its all I had on hand. I was able to treat him for the other growth with API General Cure but its just absolutely no where to be found right now..his belly looks bloated and hasn't eaten since Friday, he's just trying to stay still and rest. Does anyone know what it could be? In the picture you can kind of see it protruding out from under his belly, and since I noticed it a few days ago his belly has swollen up some too. Could it just be some sort of genetic thing? He's my 3rd betta that I've had and I've just never seen anything like it..

I can't really tell in the picture besides the bloating. I would at least fast him for a few days and see if that helps the bloating at all. Tumors amd such on bettas, while i am not sure if they are genetic, they are quite common.

Thank you, today is day 3 that he hasn't eaten. I will try to see if I can get a better picture of it later when I'm home, but theres definitely something white under his belly. Its just never easy getting a good clear pic of them

I saw him this morning before I left for work 3 hours ago, my husband just sent me this picture and told me he didn't make it...hes not moving anymore. I just wish I could figure out what it was and why it happened in case it was something I did wrong..I'm so sorry Red. I'm trying so hard to not be upset at work

I will say i don't think it is anything you did. These growths often happen whether or not. Being where it is, i am guessing it was mostly internal and putting a lot of pressure on a vital organ or two, which was probably what was causing the bloat.

Sorry to hear the news :(

Hope your week gets better :)
