Betta with Bamboo Shrimp?

Would a Bamboo shrimp be ok with a Betta since they get pretty big? Or would the Betta still harass him?

Shrimp = Breakfast YUM If the fish was too small to attack and get anywhere it would still stress them to no end not to be able to eat the shrimp.
Sorry.

For some reason I thought there was someone on the forum keeping Bamboo shrimp with a Betta. After all they do get like 4 or 5 inches. Maybe I was just imagining it though.

InarI had shrimp of some sort with his betta but I believe they all "disappeared" some how. You could ask him.

Hmm well, I don't think I will try it anyway. I think I will end up making the q tank into another permanent tank and making it another Betta tank, and then keeping the shrimp in the 20gal. Then I am considering getting a Bamboo shrimp - after the Betta has moved out of the 20, just to be sure (if I can afford one...they're like $16 a piece at my lfs!!).

In my experience you can keep bettas with bamboo shrimp the shrimps that all disappeared were ghost shrimp the one thing I will warn you of is this, beware your filter, they like to eat the '' quite litterally out of your filter other than that your fine. InarI who was very aggressive left all my bamboo shrimp alone and KasaI who isn't so bad is doing the same. Nessy and KasaI actually eat together sometimes when I toss a shrimp pellet in there kasaI will go after them and when the soften up they both share it. That is about the weirdest thing i've ever seen!
