I have a betta named Henry in a cycled 5.5 gal tank.
His tank is heated with filter and heavily planted with live plants like Amazon swords and anacharis. I got him a while ago about 9 months.

The day I got him he had white tips on his tail. I thought it was just color pattern but turnt out to be rot fin. Within a week his white started to look fuzzy. Then it started to look shredded and I kept using bettafix every day and doing water changes frequently. No help it's been months it hasn't gotten better. So I decided bettafix isn't going to cut it. Then recently 3 weeks ago I started to give him salt baths with aquarium salt.

Today he still looks no better. I have been doing water changes daily. His tank is cycled so I only test weekly and it always comes back perfect... I have 3 other vets in there own tanks happy healthy. They all get there water changed once weekly. I use prime as water conditioner no extra stuff for the plants nothing. I do Henry's water changes every 2 days with some betta fis in it and now wen I do his water change I give him a salt bath.... don't know what to do for him to help his rot fin go away.
Is there anything else? Are salt baths not efficient? Are there other options besides salt and bettafix?

I bought this betta about 5 months ago after cycling my first aquarium. Once the cycle was completed I decorated my tank with Amazon sword and anacharis. I then bought a betta after researching there's not many fish that can be in a 5 gallon safely.

After buying my betta I notice tears in his tail. I didn't really think anything about it bc I assumed itll heal being out the store container in a 5 gal heated cycled filtrated tank... A few week later it got worst. I started research discovered he has rot fin very badly. Started using bettafix with a water change every 2 days rather then once a week. To help him heal... I kept this up for about 2 months no help so recently started doing salt baths wen I do his water change and add in bettafix... and 3 weeks no sign of and healing. Is there something else I can do to heal rot fin? Is there something stronger then aquarium salt baths and betta fix? What should I do his tank is cycled I'm doing water changed every 2 days? He has a heater and everything? I was hoping that he would of got better wen I bought him not worst... what should I buy? Btw I don't use any extra anything for my plants and I use prime as my water conditioner and my oh is always 7.8 and temp is always 79 tanks been cycled before fish was in tank.

I used the apI liquid master test the tank is cycled ammonia 0 nitrites 0 nitrates between 10 and 20 ph 7.8...
Okay, good. Well, it looks like you've tried the more conservative 'clean water, salt, bettafix' routine for quite awhile! Usually just making sure the water is kept clean works but I think you probably need to get a medication specifically for fin rot at this point. Any of the commercial products for that should be fine to use.

Would primafix cure rot fin

No. Pimafix will not cure anything. It is not antimicrobial (it doesn't kill germs). The only thing Pimafix, Betafix or Melafix theoretically do is increase micro circulation, prevent secondary infection and accelerate healing. They will not cure an infection that is already present.

Do you have a reference to anything that does kill bacteria that cause illness in your fish?

There are a myriad of antimicrobials used to treat fish disease. Get one of the medications specifically made for fin rot. It will contain the antibiotic that will kill the bacteria that most commonly infect damaged fins.
