    So I’m sitting here beside my tank just hanging out with my betta, & he went into the corner & sat there for a minute. Since he was finally sitting still I decided to check him out, make sure he still looked healthy. Then I see this poo go flying up in the water & he goes chasing after it! He tried to eat it & then spat it out. Do all bettas do this? Or is mine just a brat?

    Way back when i was just starting the hobby, i had a 5 inch comet that i would feed those sinking catfish pellets to. these pellets were about the size of his eye, but i would give him 20 of them and he would eat them all. Sometimes he would get more in the evening also. However, One day i came home and there was a string of poop over everything. It was close to 3 feet long and it was still coming since it was attached to the fish. Really hard to believe, but it was that long. And just a heads up everybody, i know now this is totally wrong and i won't mention the tropical 15 gallon i kept him in.

    All fish do dumb things like try to eat their poop... repetitively ^^;;

    And if another fish spits it out they have to try and eat it again.
