Hey guys,
So I was just reading a book in my fish room and I heard a splashing sound. I looked in one of my Betta tanks and he was like jumping at the surface of the water a few times making quite a bit of splashing. Now he fine again but I have no idea what that was. Anybody have any idea?

He probably sees something at the surface and is trying to get it.

Bettas love to jump and play. A bug might have flown over the tank that he was trying to catch, or maybe he was just bored

Yeah your probably right. He’s been really playful today. Even when I fed him he was super enthusiastic about it, putting his whole body into it. It’s just kind of alarming cause the room is really quiet and all of a sudden I hear this splash. Lol

He did it a couple times again today. They were both right after I fed him. I tested his water again and still everything’s good. Am:0 Nitrite:0 Nitrate: 5. Just wondering if I should be worried or if it’s normal?
