I recently had gotten a new betta. Maybe a week ago or so and he was given to me. I'm not really sure what kind of betta he is. Can you guys help me out. Here are a few pictures. I was guessing he is a halfmoon but I'm not sure

Do you have any photos of him flaring? He is definitely either delta or halfmoon but without a flaring picture there is no way to tell for sure. Halfmoon will have a spread of 180 degrees. Anything less is considered a Delta/Super Delta.

Yup, it looks like a half moon or delta. We can't say for sure unless you see him flaring.

I think it looks like a half moon, just like mine but I am not an expert on fin types

Branching is sufficient to allow for a 180 spread. Definitely a halfmoon. :)
