Betta Hole In The Head?

I just posted about my betta's fins curling which I learned is not a health concern, so that's a relief.
But after examining and taking a closer look at him, I noticed he has very tiny holes on his head. They are very hard to see because he has a black head, but under good lighting they are visible. I just noticed them today-a week after I purchased him from my lfs-but I looked at photos that I took from when I purchased him and those holes were there.

Is this HITH? Should I try to treat him or should I wait it out?

His behavior is normal as always. He's active and eats well.

This is from when I purchased him. He has a few holes behind his eye on the right side of his face. Sorry it's really hard to see.

Okay I looked at this picture and I see holes on his scales too !!!
I'm sure you will be able to see those. I just looked at him now and the holes are still there. They didn't get any bigger though. Should I be concerned? Should I treat this? And if so, how?

I would not resort to any chemical meds, I'd get some Vitamin C and let the proteins regenerate naturally.
Kent Marine Vitamin C for fresh-and saltwater.
Also some Vitamin Booster such as Voogle by Easy-Life from the Netherlands but available over Amazon.

Well if any betta is unwell (or any fish), it will become lethargic and will start eating less. If your betta is acting normal then you don't need to worry. Last month, even I saw a few holes on my bettas head and I suspected it to be HITH. But he was acting normal so I let it be and there is no such problem now.
Don't think you need to worry unless there is a problem in his behaviour.

Okay, thank you for letting me know! I'm a little less worried now. I'm still going to keep an eye on him though
