Betta Fish Scales raised Dropsy or Overfed?

Hi guys,
I've noticed that my betta have some raised scales on its rights side (only right side, left side is perfectly fine)
He is on a 20L tank, without tank mates and a lot of plants like anubias and java ferns. Water parameters are all good, temperature is 26° and I do 50% weekly water change.
I feed him brine shrimp once a day (used to feed him betta pellets but since I fed him brine shrimp, he doesnt like betta pellets anymore :\) Personality wise, he is very active. He doesnt seem like sick or anything.
Do you guys think he has dropsy, overfed, or other disease?
Here are some photos Ive taken of him. Thanks!

Doesn't look raised, at least not in the pineconing/dropsy sense, looks more bloated to me, i would try fasting for a few days first.

Though if you could get a couple pf pics looking down at him from the top that would help a lot. Often easier to see raised scales like that.

Yeah, I kinda noticed because I experienced dropsy before with my guppys and they dont look the same.
Anyway, here are some photos I took.
Thanks for the advice! I'll start fasting him today and see how it will go!

I feed him once a day frozen artemia. This one to be exact. About how much, i'd say maybe 5-6 brine shrimps... Usually I melt the cubes and pick about 5-6 brine shrimp and feed it to him using a twizer... and then fed the remaining to my community tank.

That seems like a fine amount. Do you feed him anything else?

Nope. I used to feed him betta pellets, but ever since I introduced him frozen brine shrimp, he keeps ignoring betta pellets since then.

He may be being difficult but he needs more than frozen brine shrimp. It has very little nutrients to keep him healthy. If you fast him for a few days he will probably eat the pellets. Brine shrimp is a 1 or 2 days a week food. Mixing a variety will be much better for him. I really do know bettas can be jerks when it comes to food. You can soak food in garlic guard or juice to make it more enticing to him. Sometimes they still wont eat it though.

Hi guys,
It's been more than 2 weeks since the last update...
The lump on his right side grew.. I fasted him for 3 days and after that the lump became more visible.
He's still active and all, but I'm worried if it is a tumor or something worse??
