He's doing well. I think the swing in temperature from the water change was what was stressing him out. Although I'm glad you helped me catch that spike in ammonia. Last time everything was stable. And after I turned the heater back on after a water change, I noticed he was laying on his side again. Then he got better. Not sure how to stop this from happening. I need to wait for the heater to cool for 15 mins before taking the water out. I don't think you can place this heater in a horizontal position. I usually take 2 gallons out and put maybe 3 gallons in because it's never close to the top when I put the same amount back in. I try to exact the temperature with touch but I guess he's too sensitive for even that :/
