Betta Fish Has Strange Growth? Found A Worm In My Water

My betta fish seems to have been looking a bit bigger in the ventral/ pectoral fin region almost bloated? Is this a serious issue? From time to time she will breath like those bigger fish (opens and closes it's mouth like it's gulping water) sometimes small bubbles come out. I also saw this small speck.. that was squirming! It was floating in my aquarium and it looks like a worm? Is it a parasite... Can it be affecting my fish?

Can you post a picture? Is he eating normally? Is he pooping regularly? What do you feed him? How much of it do you feed him? And how often do you feed him? It most likely he's just bloated from constipation, but a picture is needed for confirmation.

These were the best I can do she moves fast. She looks like she poops regularly I see lots of it on the grsvel, I feed her Betts pellets by Omega one 6 a day. And only when I'm off work or have a day off do I hiver her 6 pellets , it's 6 a day. I still don't know about that small worm... It freaked me out seeing it squirm.

Alright I see a few things here. It's a female betta, so she can be producing eggs which makes her a little bloated and I'd lower the amount of pellets you feed to 4 in total, 2 pellets per meal. I'd give her a blanched pea just in case, to act as a laxative.

I'll lower her food intake. And try out a pea soon. I'm worried about this as well.. this small white speck.. is constantly being moved by my water pump.. it squirms like a worm... What can it be?

Unfortunately I don't know much about these things. Maybe someone else could help.
