I've had a "Dragonscale" betta fish for over 3 months and ive been watching videos about aquariums and betta so I got scared while watching fin rot videos so I was wondering if by the pictures you guys could tell me if he looks okay ? also can you tell me if he is an actual Dragonscale betta and not a mistake that petco makes? since they tell me it happens a lot.

Its 1am here but who cares, He has no fin rot as I can see. But petsmart doesn't sell them just like that... Are you sure it wasn't petco?

Yes sorry, its Petco from where I got it from and it said it was a dragonscale betta. But people say sometimes they mess up the name tags or something. So I was wondering.

With fin rot you'll usually notice the tips of their fins turn blackish. His fins are gorgeous, so I wouldn't worry. But if you are concerned, clean water is your best friend
