So I just bought a male double tail half moon Betta and I have read that his fins might come undone over time cause he was in the little cup. He seems to be swimming fine . It's his two bottom fins that look slightly clammed . They are not fully open

I don't know what you mean by fins coming undone. Those little cups do tend to stress bettas out though.

Clamped fins in fish are usually a sign of stress and/or symptom of disease. Can you take a picture of them?
