Betta fish color change?!

Hi everyone, I have a female koi betta in a 10g community tank with a few other peaceful fish, and she has changed color quite a bit. I know that sometimes this just happens to certain bettas, but I also know that it can sometimes be a sign of sickness so I just wanted to get a second opinion to be sure. I noticed this a few weeks ago, but if I’m being completely honest I didn’t realize how much of her color had changed until a saw a picture I took of her when I first got her. She is acting just like normal, actively swimming around and eating. I feed her and the other fish Hikari Tropical fish Micro Pellets. Thanks for the help!

And this one is now

The dull color indicates poor health, but not any particular disease. What are your water parameters? What is your tank size? Do you have a heater and a filter?

I do have a heater and a filter, my heater automatically regulates it at 80 degrees Fahrenheit. I haven’t tested my water in a few days, but I’m about to because I have a water change to do today, I’ll go test right now and post them when I’m done.

Huh. It's definitely not due to poor care, then. How has she been behaving? Any unusual lethargy, or swimming at odd angles? Also, any idea how old she was when you got her?

She has been swimming fine, eating fine, everything’s normal. I am not quite sure how old she was when I got her, she is a bit smaller than both of the males I’ve owned but barely and I know that is normal. She really hasn’t grow very much so I’d say maybe 8 months old

She's probably just changing color as she ages, then.

Okay I just tested my water
Ammonia-a little less than 0.25ppm
Nitrite-0ppm
Nitrate- 3-4 not sure

I introduced 2 nerite snails into the tank 5 days ago, right after doing a water change. I am not sure if that could have done this? One of my nerites started to lay eggs on Wednesday and has not stopped since, but I don’t think it could be that. I am about to do a water change, and I will dose for the whole tank with prime. I’m thinking a 50% change do you think that would be good?
Her color has been slowly changing for a while though so I know that this isn’t causing that, but I’m going to try to fix this now

I don't think the issue is either your water conditions or the nerite snails. Frankly, with nitrates too low to measure properly, I wouldn't change the water. It looks like she's actually getting darker, not duller, now that I look more closely at the picture. I wouldn't worry about it.
