Hello everyone

I am currently treating my betta Benji for fin rot, and today is the last day for the 7 day treatment with salt. Every day I have been doing a 100% water change and then adding dissolved salt to the water.
If he does not look any better after a while, how soon am I able to restart this 7 day treatment?

Here are some specs of my tank:
20 litres (though I only have it half full during the treatment), I keep it at 26°C, and it has a sponge filter running.
Water parameters were good before starting the treatment.

Only thing is that he did have 5 Ember Tetra tank mates which I have since taken out and won't be putting back in.

Any advice would be great thanks!

P.S he's looking fat because he just had some yummy bloodworms

Speaking in honesty, you might have luck with salts and other medicines but the best way to treat your Betta is too feed a good amount but not too much and make sure his water is clean as can be. 100% water changes might be too stressful for him maybe do less like 75%? Just my thoughts, I hope he gets better!
