Betta Eye Issue

I’ve had my betta for about 8 months. A couple month ago his eye started to go white. He has a white face so it was hard to tell what was going on at first. Is the diamond eye or an illness going on?

Very common in what you got here. You have a dragon scale betta which means his scales are bigger. Sometimes out of our control the scale can grow over the eye... I have a female betta with the same issue. There is no cure for such things. He is not totally blind but its harder for him to see. My halfmoon also has the same white cute head!

Thank you so much! I’ve been getting worried that he has something going on, but the water conditions are perfect and he seems more than happy. I love their cute little white heads! He actually completely marbles to this, he used to be completely white. I’ll post a few pictures of him when I got him and a few weekend later

same mine was white with no blue when I got him! Marbleing is amazeing
