So I got a snail a few days ago and I just put an algae wafer in the tank today and my betta is nibbling on it? Is there any way to make sure he doesn't do that?

Some bettas just like to do that lol. I would not/you don't need to feed the snail often. A tiny piece of algae wafer once in a while should suffice if your tank itself is not making any algae. I would put a tiny piece in and put your snail right on it so he eats enough. I would be concerned your betta will overeat and get sick or that he is not getting enough protein if he is often eating the wafer.
2 pellets a day is great. If you do decide to give the snail the wafer at night...hopefully your betta isn't prone to the midnight munchies haha!Yeah I was concerned that he would over eat as well if he's snacking on the wafer, as of now I feed him two pellets a day so he wouldn't get bloated, at first I was feeding him 3 pellets twice a day and he was starting to look a bit full
