Hi,
I have a spur of the moment very damaged betta male coming in a day or two. I usually always have 2-3 empty cycled tanks for this purpose but unfortunately I have NONE right now. I don't like seeding as it cross contaminates therefore that's not an option. Does anyone have any ideas on how I'd set up for this situation?? Especially without further trauma? Thanks immensely in advance.

I'm just going to suggest that you have to do daily water changes.

I wouldn’t be worried about cross contamination unless you know of a disease in another tank

I generally do deal with sick/damaged/deformed (unwanted) but regardless IMO nothing ever should really be shared between tanks without sanitizing.
