Would it be safe to put a lemon swordtail in a 20 gallon aquarium with a betta?

Hi, I would not but then I believe that betta do best in a dedicated tank with only one betta! :)
Sometimes, they do fine with tank mates but I have never had luck with this. I lost a male platy to a betta because of colors brightly colored platy=dead platy, at least in my tank.

Swordtails can be bullies, I wouldn't put one with a Betta.
Bettas are solitary fish & don't need tankmates
