Betta And Snail Not Getting Along

My nerite snail likes to hang out right under my betta's bubble nest.

From what I can tell the betta flairs at the snail but hasn't actually hurt it. He usually ignores it, but when its near his nest he acts aggressive.

I've moved the snail, but it just went right back to that spot on the glass.

Any advice to help these two get along?

there really isn't anything you can do to make them get along other then have lots of hiding spots. I wouldnt worry too much if he hasnt tried to hurt your snail. just keep an eye on them and if he attacks the snail separate them

I am new to betta care and was wondering about nerite snails cohabiting with my betta fry. I currently am battling brown algae and ordered some snails to help combat it. I then started reading that they cannot come into contact with copper sulfate. My bettas food has said chemical in it. I also recently used tetras algae control to help with the brown algae. Will the snails die if I introduce them into my bettas tank? Thanks in advance.

small amounts of copper found in foods or chemicals for tanks are safe just don't put a bunch of copper objects in. bettas are generally good with snails since they are peaceful and don't bother them, I would give them a try with your bettas

Awesome, thank you so much for the advice. I am very new and my betta is still very young so I am very cautious. Any other recommendations for a newbie?

I would definitely but I think it would be better to make your own thread for such things so we don't hijack the ops thread lol

My betta is acting weird and I think she might have eaten a snail? Do they eat them?
