Okay so this is my first betta and he has been acting weird lately
Normally he eats 3 pellets everyday and is a little sassy but he still greets me and only flares when there is a mirror infront of him but now he is flaring at everything and is only wanting to eat 1 or 2 pellets everyday and is just being much more aggressive about everything and sticks to one side of the tank hes in a 5 gallon aquarium and water quality and temps are fine I'm sure it's nothing but it's just strange of him to do this all of a sudden

Do you have another fish tank nearby where he can see them?

Bettas are aggressive predators at heart. Try him with live food and frozen bloodworm with tweezers. Make him jump for it. I started feeding my bettas more, a lot more with more variety and they seem better for it.
Flare them every day. I let mine see each other every day for short periods. These are smart fish ime and they need stimulation and a bit of stress. I read about researchers who chased their betta with a stick every day. I'm not sure about doing that but it got good results re longevity.

I have a fish tank on the other side of the room but I don't think he would be able to see the fish I can't even see them without my glasses

I already flare him everyday and I'll be sure to get some blood worms what live food would you reccomend?

daphnia, you can grow your own but my culture has just collapsed. I did keep it going for nine months though without so much as an airstone.
